This charming Canadian cartoon brought us the adventures of Eddie Storkowitz, a lovable preteen bird with stars in his eyes and a crush on his teacher. Perhaps those improbable storylines were its undoing, but Birdz is still a lot of fun.

There is chaos afoot at Flying Rhino Junior High, and it’s up to four students to stop it. Billy, Lydia, Marcus, and Ruby must foil the evil schemes of Earl P. Sidebottom, for the sake of all their classmates! I just hope the second series of this cartoon series is added to the channel, as right now we're only getting half the story!

The Dumb Bunnies are completely clueless. They seem to do everything back to front, from sleeping underneath their beds to putting flowers upside down in their vases! Their series is a bit of a one-joke cartoon, but its simplicity and basic animation style should appeal to its young target audience.

Anatole is a cute little mouse living near Paris. By day he is a devoted husband and father to his six children, but by night this gourmand tastes cheese in his local factory. He is praised by his employers, even though they have no clue that their nightly taster is a mouse! Full episodes of this animated series are available through its YouTube channel.

Mythic Warriors was once a fixture on Saturday morning cartoon schedules, but it hasn't aired on television in years. Anyone who's missed it will be thrilled to see they can get their fix on YouTube. Unfortunately the channel only contains season one so far, but hopefully it won't be too long until episodes from the final season join them.

The Wachowski brothers' film may have been a bit of a bust, but there's still a lot of affection out there for the cult Saturday morning children's cartoon, Speed Racer. The YouTube channel helps you remember all that was great about this dubbed Japanese anime series with every episode in its entirety.

We're introduced to the Robotech Wars with the first season of the Japanese anime, known as The Macross Saga. Modern day audiences may scoff at the futuristic world of 1999 portrayed in this cartoon from the 80s, but if you can suspend your disbelief this mecha series is a lot of fun.

Magic Night Rayearth takes the popular magical girl and mecha anime genres and blends them into a fun animated TV series. Its YouTube channel contains complete episodes of the first series of this 1990s anime.

It's somewhat controversial to only focus on the first story arc, although the channel may add more recent episodes later. However with many feeling the second series strayed too much from the original manga, I don't think purists will be too disappointed.

The Japanese animated series Spice and Wolf tells the story of Kraft Lawrence, a traveling salesman and his unusual companion, the harvest goddess Holo. This curious pair find their unique personalities come in handy as they make their way from town to town, discovering the countryside. It's broadcast in the original Japanese, but English subtitles help the Western world follow the action.
