It's hand to hand combat of cinematic proportions in Film Fights TV. This series takes the short films of amateur filmmakers and pits them against one another. Only the voting public, and a few folks on the street, can decide who will be the ultimate victor. This catchy format provides a great showcase for new film talent.

Like most children of the 80s, I was a big fan of those old choose-your-own adventure novels. So I was thrilled to see someone had repackaged the concept for the digital age. This new site is Rootclip, and it's just joined our amateur movies category.

The idea is rocking, but sadly there's not a lot to see here. Despite offering cash prizes, the creators only manage to attract a handful of videos in each submission period. But if you value quality over quantity, this is still worth checking out.

This channel showcases the competition's entries, and it proves to be addictive viewing. I certainly wouldn't want to be in charge of judging these amateur movies, documentaries, and comedy shorts!

Made for kids, by kids, Chew TV is a great addition to our amateur short films category.

The site features a great range of videos made by young filmmakers. Despite the age of their creators, I was impressed by how professional and entertaining these short films are. I have a feeling the next Scorsese or Spielberg could turn up here.

Education has never looked as much fun as it does at PushTV, the video channel for Britain's Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication.

It showcases students' creative works including short films, music videos and documentaries. The channel was only launched last month, so some parts are still lacking. There are a few links that point to no content, for example. But what is here is very entertaining, which makes up for its flaws.

There is a wide variety of movie genres shown on this channel. Like any station that shows amateur content some of the movies aren’t great, but many are surprisingly good and of a professional standard.

You will see a lot of unique ideas and get a feeling for something different as you watch the TV shows presented on this channel.

We are proud to announce that 3BTV has been added to the tVadio database of online television channels. 3BTV has been around for some time and tVadio has always admired their work. 3BTV showcases a lot of amateur video productions from dramas, short films and animation to new music videos from unknown artists.

This channel really does have some interesting and entertaining videos and at the time of release is completely advert free
