Our hip hop music category just received a dose of cred with the addition of Hip Hop Music Videos. The title of this channel says it all: it offers nothing but hip hop film clips.

But this is no VH1: the music videos steer away from the mainstream, offering a fresh take on the genre.

Critics who love to bash MTV for the lack of music should check out one of its latest creations, FNMTV Premieres.

In our latest reality TV series Girlicious, Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin looks to weave her magic again by choosing the members of a new girl supergroup.

Girlicious will score a contract with Geffen Records, tour the United States, and film a music video. But before all that, the contestants have to impress the judges.

UVNtv is the brainchild of Ice Cube and DJ Pooh, and it delivers plenty of entertainment with street cred. There are 12 streaming channels, and lots more videos available on demand.

However, accessing this wealth of entertainment doesn’t come easy. Firstly you've got to register, and then you'll need to download the Silverlight plug-in. The whole process is a bit time consuming, but thankfully the quality of the channel makes it worth the wait.
