TorrentFreak TV ( 8/18/2011 )

TorrentFreak TV

Until I saw TorrentFreak TV, I didn't know there was any news about the world of file sharing. Yet somehow Stacia Lawrence manages to find enough stories about the internet topic to fill a news broadcast every two weeks. The relatively slow output would be unforgivable if it had a more mainstream topic, but with such a niche subject area it doesn't seem like such a sin.

This Week in StartUps

The world of internet start-ups seems a bit dry, so I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining the weekly program This Week in StartUps is. The key to its success is Jason Calacanis, an entrepreneur who leads an informative and lighthearted panel discussion about the technology industry. At more than an hour episodes are a bit of a slog, but the transcripts make it easy to watch only the bits that interest you.

Season two has just kicked off, but the channel also allows us to view season one eps as well.
