AIDAN 5 pushes the boundaries of the futuristic science fiction webseries with its gritty narrative, mix of hand-drawn art and live action footage, and shoestring budget. It's clearly a labor of love for the cast and crew of volunteers, and their passion shows. Every episode seems to end on a cliffhanger which has us hanging out for the next.

Dash Shaw may not have the profile of a Neil Gaiman or Frank Miller, but his graphic novels have earned critical acclaim for their emotionally charged plots and unique style. The Unclothed Man in the 35th Century A.D. takes one of his latest works and makes it a futuristic cartoon for adults. While there’s nothing here to frighten or disturb kids, this is really animation for grown-ups.
