I have a theory that everything looks cooler in slow motion. You might film the most mundane activity in the world, but slow it right down and it becomes a thing of beauty.

That’s certainly the case with this video which shows a ball bearing dropped in a tray of fluidized sand.

I always thought the escalator was there to take us up or down. But what about around? Apparently there is an untapped potential that I hadn’t realized until now.

This video shows us a woman who’s learned to spin around on an escalator. I’m not sure how one practices such a skill, but she seems to have it down to a fine art.
