Anthony Bourdain's Alternate Universe

Alternate Universe is a surreal animated series created by American chef and food writer Anthony Bourdain.

The series goes into the mind of the colorful cooking personality, mocking himself and his fellow foodies along the way. He plays an eccentric scientist and father of twin girls, who builds a robot from scrap material in his own image.

The edgy animation style used is similar to that seen in the cult hit "Adult Swim."

Alternate Universe is created in a high quality video format to preserve quality, even when the episodes are viewed in full screen mode.

Video controls are presented by hovering over the player window. The bottom of the player has basic playback controls, allowing browsers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, and view the episodes in high definition or full screen viewing modes. At the top of the player, buttons allow fans to link to the video and share them with friends.
