Anyone But Me

Anyone But Me is a teen drama series focusing on a young lesbian couple growing up in post 9/11 New York City.

The series begins with 16-year-old Vivian telling her girlfriend Aster that she must leave New York City. Her father, a firefighter who suffers from respiratory problems after working as part of the 9/11 rescue team, is retiring and taking his family to Westchester.

Anyone But Me deals with the separation of the young lovebirds, and Vivian's struggles to adjust to life in a new community. While comfortable with her sexuality, she must come out all over again in her new school and neighborhood.

The series is created by Tina Cesa Ward and Susan Miller, whose previous credits include Thirtysomething and The L Word.
