Chef and television personality Andrew Zimmern takes viewers to some of the tastiest street food in America in his travel series Appetite for Life.

Zimmern shuns fine dining and high class cuisine for more honest cooking at the San Francisco Street Fair and gourmet food trucks of Los Angeles. Through the series we learn not just about the food of particular American locales, but the American cities that inspired the dishes and the people who create them.

Zimmern is an enthusiastic host who encourages his viewers to get swept up in the ride.
