Arby 'n' The Chief (YouTube)
Video game fanatics would know Arbiter and Master Chief as two of the principle characters in the Halo series. We learn what they're like outside the game in the comedy webseries, Arby 'n' The Chief.
Arbiter and Master Chief are two action figurines living in the home of their owner, Jon Graham. While Jon is home, the characters behave much like any other plastic toys would. But when Jon leaves the figures come to live, playing video games, particularly but not exclusively the Halo games, and running amok.
Master Chief is juvenile, foul-mouthed, trash-talking, sexist, and illiterate to boot. He often talks in the gamer language known as 1337 Speak, with shortened words and emoticons serving to convey his feelings. In contrast Arbiter is clever and friendly. He is Master Chief’s one true friend, and a natural problem solver.
Arbiter loves a range of games, but Master Chief is loyal to his brand and is reluctant to play anything that is not part of the Halo series. When he does consent to a non-Halo game, Chief always performs badly, causing him to detest the offending games even more!
Jon has occasionally seen his active figurines, but Arbiter has cleverly convinced their human owner he was suffering from hallucinations.
