Arts Quest

Cultural series Arts Quest shines a light on the independent arts scene of the United States, with a special focus on Northeast Ohio.

The series is hosted by Ohio natives Todd Volkmer, or Todd V as he's better known, and Erin Ludlam. Volkmer is an artist and performer, while Ludlam earns a crust as a gallery owner. The duo exposes the visual arts, theatre, and music created in their local area and beyond through interviews, event reviews, and live performances.

As Arts Quest focuses on up and coming and undiscovered artistic talent, the hosts urge artists and performers to contact them for a chance to be featured on the program. By working with other artists and discovering new talent, the series hopes to address the lack of media coverage afforded to the fine arts.

The Arts Quest main page is organized like a typical blog, with video episodes posted amongst other photo and text-based arts stories. The player windows are embedded into the posts, along with brief explanations of the clips.
