BBC Sport Olympics

BBC Sport Olympics delivers videos focused on the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, with a special focus on the athletes and teams of Great Britain.

During the games, the site will feature live videos from all the key events in Beijing. Browsers can choose from six streaming channels showing coverage from BBC TV and BBC interactive. The channel will also show highlights of each day’s action, allowing viewers to watch the best bits when it's convenient for them.

BBC Sport Olympics also includes interviews with prominent athletes and videos explaining the sports in more detail.

Browsers can look at videos and information pertaining to a particular sport by choosing it from the gray navigation menu at the left of the page.

Videos open in a separate window, known as the BBC Media Player. The player allows users to choose their connection speed and preferred media player (Windows Media Player or Real Player) to optimize the viewing experience. Browsers can also tick a checkbox to show subtitles where they are available.
