Bad Love
Bad Love is a comedy series about the dysfunctional romantic relationship of twentysomethings Michael and Valerie.
The couple is played by real-life lovers and series screenwriters Michael Ashley and Valerie Shepherd. However, their on-screen romance seems far less lovey-dovey. The fictional Michael and Valerie are unlikable yuppies who start their own T-shirt empire to poke fun at minorities “in clever ways. The T-shirt slogans they develop serve at the episode titles. While they appear to hate one another, their hot and heavy public make-up sessions dispel this theory.
Bad Love takes its inspiration from television sitcoms such as Mad About You and Dharma and Greg, although its writing is far edgier and its characters less endearing.
Episodes launch in a pop-window containing a basic YouTube player, episode synopsis, and thumbnail images which allow fans to navigate to other Bad Love episodes.
