Bandstand Busking

The world's brightest young musicians perform acoustic sets in the unused bandstands around London in the music series Bandstand Busking.

Upcoming performances are announced via Bandstand Busking e-mails and the channel's Facebook and Twitter pages. This allows fans to personally attend the intimate staged concerts. Anyone who can't attend, or who simply wants to relive the magic, can view the performances on the Bandstand Busking website.

The channel looks to reinvigorate Britain's bandstands, returning them to their former glory by bringing music and crowds back. Local bands from the United Kingdom and international acts passing through the country perform stripped back versions of their songs. Each episode features a few tunes from the featured artist or group.

The "All Busks" page features images from each performance and a brief description of the episode. Clicking on the images takes viewers to the individual episode pages, which contain a video player, comments from other viewers, and buttons allowing fans to share the clips with friends via popular social networking sites.
