C3.tv

C3.tv is an independent college network which showcases the work of American film, music, and photography students.

C3 stands for College Creativity Collaborative, and these words do much to explain what C3 is. All content on the channel has been created by college students to entertain a global audience. The centerpiece of C3 is its range of web series. The site features five programs which are updated weekly.

A new program is added every weekday. On Monday it's TMRS, an acronym which stands for The Movie Review Show. On Tuesday, get your fix of My Freshman Year. It chronicles one student's journey through their freshman year at NYU. Submissions is a bit of a mixed bag, with a range of different videos created by college students. New episodes are added on Wednesdays. The fashion show Behind the Seams airs on Thursdays, while the music program Music Revue rounds out the week.

Controls beneath the viewer allow browsers to pause and play the videos, adjust their volume, and toggle between regular and large view. The forward and backward arrows allow users to scroll from one episode to the next.

The videos are free to view, but users must register a college e-mail to download them or add their own to the site. This aims to facilitate the community aspect of the site, which works much like MySpace and other social networks.

C3 also features it's own college radio network and image gallery.
