CO-OP

CO-OP is an American video games channel modeled on the kinds of conversations that real gamers have with their friends.

CO-OP deals with games across all platforms and the contemporary gaming culture. The program strives for naturalism, so there are no review scores, top ten lists, or talking heads.

CO-OP is hosted by the team from independent company Area5: Matt, Ryan, Cesar, Jason, Rob and JayFresh. The program also features special guest appearance from computer game developers and other experts.

CO-OP came from the failed cult computer game program, The 1UP Show.

CO-OP can be watched online in the web browser, or downloaded to view later. Each episode is available for download in audio and high-definition video formats. Various viewing modes are available, including a pop-up player and theatre mode, where all but the player window is blacked out.

The CO-OP channel makes it easy for fans to subscribe to the program through iTunes or another RSS feed reader, ensuring they never miss an episode.

Video controls are presented by hovering over the player window. These controls allow viewers to share the videos with friends, embed them into a personal website, watch a specific segment of the show, and control the video quality. The episodes are available to view in low quality, high quality, or advanced high definition video.
