Comics are Awesome

JD Motte shares his enthusiasm for comic books with online fans through the webseries Comics are Awesome.

Motte celebrates comics in all forms, including the mighty Marvel and DC franchises and graphic novels. The series was originally conceived to review a particular comic in each episode, with a focus on classic titles. However, recently Motte has begun to branch out with other more diverse themes. These include footage from comic book conventions and countdowns of hotly anticipated new releases and less promising new titles.

The Comics are Awesome channel is organized like a traditional blog, with the most recent episodes presented first. Long episodes are broken up and presented in two or more video players. Each video typically lasts for around 10 to 15 minutes.
