Comics on Comics

Comics on Comics is a web-based talk show pitting comic book creators against comedians in geek-related topical debates. These discussions are moderated by Comics on Comics host and series co-creator Juan-Manuel Rocha.

The series tackle comic books, video games, and other cult pop culture programs. Episodes also feature interviews with the creative geniuses behind the pop culture phenomenon, and footage from conventions and other related events.

The series is characterized by its in-depth analysis and informed panel members. It's not uncommon for the program to focus on nitty-gritty topics like the layout of a comic book or the effect of a musical score on a sci-fi film's audience. The presence of several comedians on the panel ensures that it never gets too serious.

Each episode post in the Comics on Comics channel contains an embedded video player. This player contains basic video controls and a menu button which presents advanced features. These include links to share the videos with friends and subscribe to the Comics on Comics RSS feed. Additional links in the posts allow fans to access a larger player and to download medium and high-quality versions of the episode from iTunes.
