Cookin' with Coolio

Cookin' with Coolio is an online cooking series starring the American rapper Coolio.

The flamboyant musician bills himself as "a ghetto-witch-doctor-superstar chef," and this is evident in his trademark "Shaka Zulu" exaltation. He's ably assisted by his sous-chef and a bevy of buxom "sauce girls."

Coolio tutors his audience in the kind of basic dishes bachelors could happily prepare. While there are no frills, his caprese salad, sautéed spinach, and "game-day turkey" promise to be healthy and inexpensive choices which will no doubt impress the ladies.

The player features video controls which allow users to easily pause the video, fast forward and rewind the clip, adjust its volume, and view the episode in full-screen mode.

Anyone can view Cookin' with Coolio videos, but members of the My Damn Channel site have added functionality. They can leave a text or video comment to any episode. Membership to My Damn Channel is free.

A synopsis of each episode is shown underneath the player. The synopsis window contains icons allowing fans to share the videos with friends, embed them into a personal website, submit them to social networking websites, and download them to view later.

Underneath the synopsis there are various tabs, showing the fan comments, production credits, and the recipes used in the program.
