Cool Hunting

Cool Hunting is an arts webseries which speaks to artists and designers to learn about their inspirations and creative process.

Cool Hunting is targeted at creative professionals, so it is presented with a certain amount of assumed knowledge about the art world. Details about the creative process of each artist and behind-the-scenes footage are presented to appeal to these art-savvy viewers.

Cool Hunting takes a broad view of art, with episodes including such eclectic topics as Lian Hua Mountain Gardens, Sao Paulo Fashion Week, and the World's Biggest Lemonade Stand.

While most episodes are in English, when speaking to foreign artists Cool Hunting features foreign language interviews with English subtitles.

Thumbnail images representing the Cool Hunting episodes are tiled on the channel’s video page. Browsers can scroll through the episodes by dragging the mouse from one side to the other, or clicking the arrows on the left and right sides of the screen.

Clicking on a thumbnail makes a simple YouTube video player appear. Buttons in the top right of the player window allow browsers to close the episodes and view the episode’s You Tube page. This contains more information, including an episode synopsis, the video's URL, and viewer comments.

Episodes are released on a bi-monthly basis.
