Craigslist TV (YouTube)

Craigslist TV is a documentary series which follows real people using the popular online classifieds website, Craigslist. The webseries is a joint venture between the website and film company Brownstone Entertainment.

Through Craigslist TV we meet a colorful cast of real-life characters including roommates searching for their own Owen Wilson-esque "Dupree," a geek looking for a date, and a celebrant wanting to marry gay couples.

Craigslist users can click an "opt-in" button on the Craigslist website when posting their ad if they'd like to participate in the film project. Cameras then follow the chosen subjects for a few days, documenting what happens after their ad hits the net.

Craigslist TV videos are available through the series' YouTube channel. Each episode typically lasts between five and ten minutes. The channel allows browsers to subscribe, so they'll always know when new videos are added to the collection. It also makes it easy to send a message to the program's creators, or share the videos with friends. An episode synopsis is printed below each video.
