Create Your Story is a channel showcasing amateur videos about a wide range of subjects, and across a diverse number of genres.

The channel features dramas, comedies, documentaries, music videos, and more. Amongst them are a documentary about a rising hip hop outfit, a comedy about retail workers, a dark romance about losing individuality in love, and a reality TV spoof. While the videos are varied, they are united in their aim to tell personal stories.

The videos are submitted to Crackle for their Create Your Story contest. Videos are assessed on their originality, production values, and potential for development. The winner wins a professional camcorder and video editing programs. Crackle may also develop the winning video for an online series.

Users can browse videos sorted by the number of views, the most shared, and the highest rated. Fans can also use the search box at the top right of the screen to find videos of interest.

Browsers can view more information about the videos they are watching, including their duration and the number of views, by hovering over the player. Hovering also allows browsers to share the video with friends, add it to a playlist, and flag it for offensive content.

Create Your Own Story videos are free to watch. However, fans can enjoy extra privileges by signing up for a free Crackle account. This allows users to create a profile page and save and comment on their favorite videos. This profile automatically keeps track of the last 300 videos viewed.
