Dan 3.0

Dan 3.0 is an interactive webseries starring 20-year-old Nebraska born video blogger Dan Brown.

Brown says the program is “as much a show as it is a project as it is a social experiment.” It sees the vlogger put the control of his life in the hands of internet viewers for one year. It’s a risky experience, but one which should inspire some interesting stories to tell his grandkids.

Home viewers are encouraged to interact with the series by voting for where Dan should go and what he should do next. All suggestions can be made using the section of the channel called the Decision Engine.

So far Dan has eaten a carrot, written a letter to President Obama, recorded a song with another YouTube vlogger, and donated blood, amongst other activities.

While Dan says he is game to tackle almost anything, he refuses to do anything illegal or harmful to himself. He also won’t do anything to alter the relationship with his very understanding girlfriend.

Dan 3.0 can be watched online in the web browser, or downloaded to view later. Each episode is available for download in audio and high-definition video formats.

Video controls appear when hovering over the player window. Buttons underneath the player window allow fans to share the episodes with friends via popular social network platforms and personal websites.
