Dear Prudence

Dear Prudence translates the traditional advice column onto the web. The series stars journalist Emily Yoffe.

She introduces the dilemma outlined in the featured letter and then gives her answer while an animated short film illustrates the situation discussed. The letters typically address issues concerning women, including getting along with friends or family and modern etiquette.

Each episode is short, generally lasting less than two minutes.

The player window allows viewers to pause and play the videos, adjust their volume, or get the code needed to embed the clips into a personal website or blog site. Clicking on the menu button displays the episode synopsis and embed code.

This episode synopsis is also printed underneath the player window. Underneath this icons allow fans to share the videos with their friends on Facebook, Twitter, and Digg.

A navigation menu is situated to the right of the player window. It features thumbnails and short synopses of other episodes in the series. Browsers can simply click these to jump to other episodes of Dear Prudence.
