Acclaimed journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez analyze key events around the world with the independent news series Democracy Now!

The independent program looks to offer perspectives rarely heard in the mainstream media in its regular War and Peace Reports. It achieves this goal by liaising with other independent journalists, and reporters working around the world, as well as speaking to ordinary people affected by breaking stories.

Democracy Now! is also a stage for real debates about issues that matter. In these special broadcasts we see government spokespeople taking on grassroots activists, and other key showdowns.

Each episode lasts for approximately one hour, and a new one is posted to the channel every day except Saturday.
