Deserving Design is a feel-good home improvements program which grants design makeovers to people who most deserve it.

In each episode, host Vern Yip works with deserving families, revamping two rooms to bring balance to the home, the family, and their lives. One room is designed with the homeowners input, while the other is a complete surprise. The recipients of Vern's generosity include charity workers, victims of natural disasters, war veterans, and others who have fallen on hard times.

The uplifting program showcases Vern Yip's exceptional design skills and warm sense of humor. The program was inspired by Vern's appearance on Oprah, where he surprised a waitress and her mother with a home makeover. He hopes his first solo series while inspire and entertain viewers.
