Digits

Digits is a daily technology news program produced by "The Wall Street Journal."

The program is developed by the respected newspapers' technology reporters from around the globe, and edited by Julia Angwin, the technology editor of The Wall Street Journal website. The journos present interviews with prominent figures in the technology industry, news of the latest gadgets, and information about the changing face of the tech world.

The Digits channel is organized in a blog-style format, with a written episode synopsis preceding each episode player. The most recent episodes are posted first, although fans can view past episodes by trawling through the archives.

The video player contains both basic and advanced controls. The top row of controls gives users basic functionality, allowing them to pause and play the clips, adjust the volume, and launch a pop-up player window. Underneath this there are more advanced controls that allow fans to share the videos with their friends using e-mail, personal websites, and popular social networking pages. There is also a button here that allows fans to subscribe to the Digits RSS feed.
