Freeman's Mind (YouTube)

Freeman's Mind is a machinima animated comedy series which steps inside the mind of physicist Dr. Gordon Freeman, the protagonist of the video game Half-Life.

Freeman walks viewers through the events he encounters in the game with his own humorous commentary. He is eccentric, sarcastic and often cantankerous, but skilled at his job and very sharp. Game enthusiasts will note a few differences from the original game, as Freeman's guns are more damaging, he does not need to visit health stations, and he can survive more threats.

Freeman's Mind is created by Ross Scott, who also voiced Gordon Freeman in the video game. He says he made the modifications to the game play to add realism. The series originated in 2007, and episodes have been sporadically released since this time.

Freeman's Mind episodes are available through the series' YouTube channel. Each episode typically lasts between five and ten minutes. The Freeman's Mind channel allows browsers to subscribe, so they'll always know when new videos are added to the collection. This channel also makes it easy to send a message to the creators of Freeman’s Mind, or share the videos with friends.
