Friends We Love

Friends We Love is a documentary web channel which shines the spotlight on all kinds of artists.

The series was developed by DJ Moni Pineda and multimedia entrepreneur Mike Vargas, a pair who discovered that between them they knew many interesting creative types. These contacts are amongst the artist featured on Friends We Love.

Friends We Love features three different web series. In Axis, musicians, visual artists, filmmakers and more reveal their creative processes and inspirations. In 120 Seconds, these same personalities get just two minutes to speak their mind about topics they are passionate about. And finally, in Off the Wall, Friends We Love joins forces with the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in Chelsea to interview artists about their exhibitions.

Episodes are filmed in high definition format to maintain their quality, even when viewed in full-screen mode.

Video controls appear when users hover over the player window. The bottom of the player contains basic controls which allow browsers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, and view the video in full-screen mode. More advanced controls along the right side of the player window allow browsers to share the videos with friends, embed them into a personal website, and toggle between regular and high definition viewing. Vimeo members can also add the episodes to their "like" list.
