Gallery Girl TV

The Australian curator of the Melbourne Art Rooms Gallery Andy Dinan looks to demystify the art world with her series Gallery Girl TV.

Just like her gallery, the series is created with the underlying belief that art should be accessible to everybody. She looks to strip away the elitism and pretention she feels plagues her local commercial arts scene, and present it to anyone with an interest in art. In each episode Dinan visits galleries and reviews the art she finds there. During her stay she interviews the artists, gallerists, fellow curators, and celebrities about current visual arts exhibitions.

Dinan looks to give a voice t the visual artists and works that don't ordinarily receive media coverage. She strives to steer clear of the beaten arts track and expose new and exciting forms of expression.

The Gallery Girl TV channel "When" page contains an episode viewer. Clicking on the episode title presents the selected episode. Controls along the base of the player window allow viewers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, share them with friends, and view them in full screen mode.
