Geek Crash Course

Diana Dekajlo and Michael A. Nixon take viewers on a crash course of geek culture with their pop culture webseries, Geek Crash Course.

The program celebrates all aspects of geekdom including video games, comic books, and the science fiction genre. The series aims to educate nerd novices on these geeky pursuits so they can join in water-cooler conversations, ingratiate themselves to their new nerdy squeeze, and make new geek friends.

Each episode focuses on a particular geek topic, such as a film franchise, a comic book series, or a geeky television program. Special episodes also take viewers into the heart of geek culture, such as those filmed at comic conventions.

The Geek Crash Course episodes page features several embedded video players, with the one showing the most recent episode appearing first. Controls along the base of the player window allow browsers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, view the episodes in full screen mode, and share them with friends.
