Horrible People

Horrible People is an online soap opera parody starring "Flight of the Conchords'" Kristin Schaal, Mather Zickel, and its creator, A.D. Miles.

Schall and Zickel play Margaret and Carter, a couple whose engagement party provides the backdrop for some serious family melodrama. As the five-to-six minute episodes unfold, we become more aware of the secrets of these horrible people. Addiction, greed, and revenge are just some of the soap opera clichés used in this series.

The player features video controls which allow users to easily pause the video, fast forward and rewind the clip, adjust its volume, and view the episode in full-screen mode.

Anyone can view Horrible People videos, but members of the My Damn Channel site have added functionality. They can leave a text or video comment to any episode. Membership to My Damn Channel is free.

A synopsis of each episode is shown underneath the player. The synopsis window contains icons allowing fans to share the videos with friends, embed them into a personal website, submit them to social networking websites, and download them to view later. Fan comments are shown underneath this synopsis.
