In Their Boots

In Their Boots is a documentary series that steps into the shoes of those affected by war.

Episodes are told with a first-person perspective without the use of a narrator. Each one tells the story of a particular person, or group of people, and the way they have been impacted by the war. Those featured include returning soldiers, grieving partners, and children whose parents are serving their country.

In Their Boots is funded by the Iraq Afghanistan Deployment Impact Fund of the California Community Foundation. The executive producer is acclaimed documentary maker Richard Ray Perez

Videos are filmed in high-definition to preserve their quality, even when viewed in full screen mode.
