LOL

LOL is a teen drama series from Ric Forster one of the writers of British soap, "Hollyoaks". It explores typical teenage concerns including sex, drugs, and friendship.

LOL stars newcomer Nicola Mahoney as 15-year-old Keely Cooper, an intelligent teenager unhappy with her life. She's neglected by her man-crazy single mother, and her best friend Jaz is too enamored with her boyfriend to care. Fueled by depression and peer pressure, Keely begins to experiment with drugs and sex.

LOL is told using flash-forwards which reveal scenes six months later. The non-linear structure creates a mystery surrounding broken relationships with family and friends.

LOL is filmed in high-definition video to ensure quality is preserved even in full-screen viewing mode. Each episode is short, lasting between two and five minutes.
