Up and coming musicians and established artists showcase their talents in the musical series Live From SugarHill Recording Studios.

The acts play at the historic SugarHill Studios in Houston, Texas, a studio known by many as "The Abbey Road of the South." Over the last seven decades the studio has captured legendary albums by iconic musicians including The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Beyonce, and ZZ Top.

The episodes capture the spontaneity and electricity of recent performances captured in the famed studios. Every episode is performed, mixed, broadcast, and filmed live, with the same settings the studio would employ in a traditional recording session. Performers come from all genres, including jazz, punk, country, rock, blues and roots, and hip hop.

Many music programs are set inside recording studios, but the creators of Live From SugarHill says their approach sets their series apart. Rather than using the studio as a tool for superior sound quality, the creators of this webseries treat Studio A as the star of the show.
