Macros

Macros is an experimental documentary webseries which presents visual representations of mankind's impact on the world.

The series is the brainchild of Imaginary Forces, a design firm famous for its work in advertising and Hollywood films. It showcases a different kind of storytelling, one that relies on stylized graphical displays which work in tandem with traditional narrative commentary.

Each episode is short, lasting approximately three to four minutes.

The player controls appear when hovering over the player window with the mouse. These controls allow browsers to pause or stop the playback, jump to the next video in the series, and toggle between regular and full-screen viewing modes and low and high quality viewing modes.

A short episode synopsis is found underneath the player window. Below this, links allow fans to share the videos with social networking communities, embed them into a personal website, e-mail them to friends, and subscribe to the channel’s RSS feed.

Images to the right of the player window allow browsers to easily navigate to other episodes of Macros.
