News War is an American documentary series which examines the powerful, and often controversial, news industry. The four-part series was developed by "Frontline," one of America's most influential public affairs series.

News War includes more than 50 interviews with key media figures, including Ted Koppel, Dan Rather, and Eric Schmidt. These personalities discuss a range of topical issues including the Valerie Plame investigation, the battle between the White House and the press, media bias, journalistic privilege, and more.

While the series aired on America's PBS network, the internet broadcast includes some special web-only features. These include details of the growth of the internet news industry, in-depth coverage of changes at The Los Angeles Times, and facts about the media business.
