Noisevox

The music channel Noisevoix features interviews, live performances, and music videos from some of America's most exciting new indie artists.

By celebrating the work of independent musicians, Noisevox seeks to offer an alternative to the monopoly of major record companies and key music media outlets. It rejects the notion that we must like the music that others tell us to, and encourages fans to seek out the sounds that move them.

The Noisevox video channel is a companion to the website's interactive elements, which allow music fans at home to share their views on recent albums and concerts, along with photographs of music festivals and performances. Unlike much Noisevox content the videos are created by the site's editorial team, which features channel hosts John Norris and Rachel Gittler and executive producer David Navarrete.

The most recent episode of Noisevox is displayed in a large player window on the main Noisevox pages. Controls along the base of this window allow fans to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, share them with friends, and view them in full screen mode.

Thumbnail images underneath the main player allow fans to easily navigate to other recent episodes of the music series.
