Nowness

Nowness is a luxury lifestyle series which looks to stay ahead of the current trends in fashion, cinema, culture, travel, entertainment, and the arts.

Given the program's wide scope, the episodes are varied. In one the camera might be stepping inside the home of a major museum curator, while in the next it may shine a spotlight on a musician or filmmaker.

Nowness employs an expert team of contributors, including cult author Bret Easton Ellis, American photographer Ryan McGinley, and the Mulleavy sisters of fashion label Rodarte.

Previous episodes are presented in a calendar archive, allowing fans to click through the episodes posted on a given day or month.

The video player is simple, with basic controls along the bottom allowing fans to pause and play each episodes, adjust their volume, and view them in full screen mode. Buttons at the top of the player window allow fans to say whether they “love” or “don’t love” each episode.

A comprehensive episode synopsis is printed below the player window, along with a button which allows fans to share the videos with friends via a personal website, e-mail, and popular social networking platforms.

New content is posted daily on the site. This may take the form of a photography portfolio or a video episode.
