Pioneer One

When a space capsule arrives on Earth, American Homeland Security is put to the test in the independent political science fiction drama series, Pioneer One.

The appearance of the capsule, and the Soviet astronaut inside it, makes waves in the paranoid climate of post 9/11 America. She claims she's from Mars, but American intelligence isn't so sure.

The independently produced drama series is funded by the support of generous viewers. It has received critical acclaim and been awarded the Best Drama Pilot at the New York Television Festival in 2010.

Thumbnail images on the main Pioneer One page take fans to the individual episode pages. An episode synopsis is printed above the player window, along with links to stream the video at Blip.tv and download its torrent at VODO.

Controls along the base of the video players allow fans to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, share the videos with friends, and view them in full-screen mode. An additional page in the channel features behind-the-scenes footage captured during the making of each episode.

Episodes are longer than the average web series, with each clocking in at more than half an hour each.
