Play It 4-Ward
Play it 4-Ward is a technology talk show where a range of personalities sound off about the latest advancements in a panel discussion. The ever-changing panel is led by the NBC Today Show's gear and technology editor Paul Hochman.
The channel features the views of a diverse range of people including tech experts, futurists, political figures, and entertainers.
Rather than a typical panel presentation, the personalities featured appear as talking heads, all in their own separate box.
The name of the current episode playing is printed above the player window. Hovering over the arrow beside this presents a drop down menu which allow fans to easily navigate to any episode.
Controls along the base of the video player allow fans to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, and share them with friends via e-mail, a personal website, and popular social networking platforms. Dots on the seek bar indicate when different members of the panel give their views, so browsers can easily navigate to the sections of the video that interest them.
Information buttons embedded into the player window allow fans to view more information about the program's speakers. Viewers can also interact with the series by voting for the panelist they agree with. When clicking on the speaker an orange button reading "I agree with this" appears below the player window. Clicking this button registers a vote, and causes the number displayed on the speaker's small screen to increase.
Episodes typically last between four and five minutes.
