Radio Free Krakow

Radio Free Krakow is a Canadian drama series focused on underground radio.

The series starts when an undergraduate student, known by her pseudonym Viola, starts a campus radio station. She broadcasts between midnight and 4 am, inviting guests to weigh in live on the air. One of her most popular guests is Sol, a mysterious man who spouts interesting theories of government conspiracies.

When Viola decides to focus on her studies she gives the station to Sol, who decides to take Radio Free Krakow on the road. He broadcasts from a bus, delivering socially-charged programs which lash out at an unnamed villain looking to control the government, media, and industry.

While the series is accessible to casual viewers, it also has an interactive component. The most involved viewers are rewarded with private messages, videos, and e-mails.

Controls at the bottom of the player window allow browsers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, view them in full-screen viewing mode, e-mail the episodes to friends, or embed them into a personal website. A small cross underneath the player allows browsers to close the Flash pop-up player.
