Recess Stories

The tales of real life students come to life in the live-action children's comedy series, Recess Stories.

The creators know that recess is the most important part of any student's day. It's a time when students connect and blow off steam, away from the classroom and its rules. And so when the bell rings the action begins, and the Recess Stories unfold. Each episode centers around a small event in the lives of its revolving cast of 41 characters. We meet a boy who's convinced he can become invisible, a girl with sticky fingers and an eye for anything pink, and kids struggling to survive time on The Wall.

While Recess Stories is fictional, its episodes are based on the anecdotes students in grades three to eight told Beeswax Productions. Each one is short, lasting between two to four minutes. The nature of the program means each episode can stand alone, although the recurring characters help engage viewers over the long term.

While Recess Stories is created as family entertainment, it is targeted at children under the age of 12.
