Red vs Blue

Red vs Blue is an animated science fiction series. It follows two opposing teams of soldiers in a parody of first-person shooter computer games.

The Red and Blue teams are engaged in a kind of civil war in a box canyon known as Blood Gulch. However, unbeknownst to either team there is no actual civil war at all. Both armies are under the command of Project Freelancer, who uses the armies to train his freelance agents. The team members have quirky, individual personalities, and often cause more problems for their colleagues than their opponents.

Red vs Blue uses machinima animation techniques, similar to those used in multiplayer computer games such as Halo. It has led to a resurgence in interest in the animation style, and won awards from the Academy of Machinima Arts & Sciences.

Buttons at the top of the screen allow fans to navigate to their chosen season of Red vs Blue. Controls in the player allow browsers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, view them in full screen mode, and share them with friends.
