Gaming enthusiasts Eric DerManouelian and Scott Gowin take viewers back into the vault with their animated series Retro Rant.

DerManouelian narrates the program, while Gowin is responsible for the distinctive animation. The program features a slide show of still images, rather than moving animation, drawn simply with few colors. The duo takes viewers through the popular games of the past, pausing to poke fun and fill plot holes along the way. While many games are dealt with in one episode more complex programs, such as Pokemon, are reviewed in a series of videos.

The Retro Rant channel is organized like a traditional blog, with the most recent episodes posted first. Viewers can filter the episodes according to their topic by using the links at the top of the page.

Controls along the base of the player windows allow browsers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, and view them in full screen mode.
