Ride the Pine

Alex Balcerski celebrates the lighter side of sport in his comedy sports series Ride The Pine.

The series gets its name from the colloquial phrase for being benched. Balcerski might not have the athletic ability it takes to play in the big leagues, but his enthusiasm for the games he loves makes up for it. Ride the Pine casts a playful eye over baseball, basketball, American football, and the personalities that bring color to these popular sports.

Balcerski's training ground was The Scotty and Alex Show, a radio program mixing comedy with sports and current affairs. In 2008 he graduated to his present online home, where he continues to kick goals.
