Sesame Street Video Clips

The Sesame Street website showcases video clips from the iconic American educational children's television series. Modern video clips sit happily alongside vintage footage from the 1960s and 1970s.

The videos are designed to help children learn skills in literacy, numeracy, science, language as well as more abstract concepts such as self confidence, cultural appreciation, and getting along with others. They feature a cast of lovable puppets, known as Muppets, and well known celebrities including actress Susan Sarandon, blues musician B.B. King, and poet Maya Angelou.

The Sesame Street channel and player are simply designed and easy for young children to navigate. Controls at the base of the player window allow browsers to pause, play, and rewind the clips, mute them, view them in full screen mode, add them to a list of favorites known as "My Street," and share them with friends.

Thumbnail images underneath the player window allow fans to easily navigate to other video clips. Browsers can search for a video by name or category, including favorite characters, themes, or subjects.
