Seven Ages of Rock Video Clips

Seven Ages of Rock is a documentary series charting the history of rock music. The program is a joint venture between American music broadcaster VH1 and British television network BBC.

Blues-based rock, art rock, punk, heavy metal, stadium rock, US alternative rock, and British indie are all covered in this comprehensive series. Each episode focuses on a different period, although the timing of many of these eras overlap. The series uses a combination of archived live performances and new interviews to describe each historical period.

The BBC website contains short video clips containing some of Seven Ages of Rock's key interviews. These include chats with such influential artists as The Who's lead singer Roger Daltrey, the members of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads' frontman David Byrne, and Bruce Springsteen.
