Short Term

Short Term is a web-based sitcom set in the Short Term Agency, an employment firm specializing in temporary work placements.

The comedy series looks at the day to day running of the agency and the private and professional lives of its employees. The workers look to solve the world's problems, one short term position at a time, or at least whenever there are no sales at Bloomingdale's!

The team is headed up by Karen Channelhorn, a snobby brand manager played by Emily Button. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but forced into the workforce when her father lost most of the family fortune. She oversees reality TV obsessed Naresh Patel, the son of an Indian hotel mogul with stars in his eyes, and the hard working but underappreciated Molly Patterson. Molly accepted the position at Short Term Agency during her gap year, but unfortunately finds herself there seven years later, despite her aspirations of something greater.
