Spill

Spill is an animated movie review series which offers frank and funny appraisals of the latest box office hits.

The animated characters interact in a very believable and often humorous way, which gives this program a more accessible feel than many highbrow review programs. The original approach extends to the reviews, which shun a numerical or star rating system for something more personal. The worst films are rated "Some Ole Bullshit," while the best are "Better Than Sex!"

The site also contains a large range of cinema-related clips in the video section. This massive archive contains more than 11, 000 videos. These include celebrity interviews, movie trailers, short films and amateur movie parodies.

Controls underneath the player allow viewers to play and pause the clips, and adjust their volume. There's also a menu button which gives fans the ability to embed the videos into their own website, add them to a social networking site, or join the Spill community.

Membership to Spill is not required for viewing the videos, but it does allow fans to comment on the reviews they see and upload their own short films.

Further details to the right of the player provide a synopsis of the films reviewed, a list of stars and links to further information about them on the site, and links to the movies official trailer and website. Additional button links allow fans to see the movie in the cinema, rent it, or buy it.
